I was a dancer for over 10 years, and played volleyball for about 6, but I never truly felt like I was fit. I was always pretty active, but I never got the results I wanted. You see, I was trying to change my body, without changing my lifestyle. I had a very fast metabolism, so I got away with eating whatever I wanted and exercising only at volleyball practice and dance classes. Before I knew it, I was looking fine on the outside, but terribly unfit and unhealthy inside.


My turning point came when I had an asthma attack in the middle of a fitness assessment, in front of over 50 peopleIt was at that moment I realised something had to change. I adapted my lifestyle, transformed the way I view training and nutrition, and developed a passion for health and fitness like never before!

I decided to combine my degrees with my newfound passion, and founded CORE Wellness TT in 2016. I am an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer, with 3 years of experience in the field, and particularly enjoy working with beginners, to develop mobility and flexibility, and functional movement through bodyweight training.  I also consult on Public Health Policy and lecture in the field of Community Health.

It was only when I got to the CORE of my setbacks and hindrances, that I was able to get here...

I am from Belgrade, Serbia, where I worked in Banking, Financing and Stock Trading for five years. Due to the stressful world of finance, I developed serious health problems. Eventually, I decided to quit my job and find a better way of living. That’s when I found my passion for the fitness and wellness industry, which took me around the globe, where I have educated and influenced thousands of people.


I worked for high end cruise lines like Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruises and Celebrity Cruises, which led to my recruitment by world renowned spa and wellness company, Canyon RanchSoon, I was recognised as one of the top wellness directors across an entire fleet of over 20 cruise ships.


With 6 years of experience in the industry, I am very passionate about healthy living, and have endless, positive energy that I use to inspire people to perform better, both physically and mentally. I am a certified Yoga, Pilates, TRX, Boot Camp and Spinning Instructor, as well as Personal Trainer, Nutritionist and Health Coach. I can tailor a completely individualised exercise and nutrition plan toward your needs.

I have been active all my life. I can’t remember a time when I was never involved in some kind of outdoor activities. From growing up playing football (my first love) to lawn tennis, to swimming, cricket, basketball and even baseball, I did it all and loved it; which kept me fit over the years.
But as the years went by, my activity levels drastically dropped and I was not fit as I used to be.

My journey into training started out with my wife, who was my girlfriend at the time. She became a trainer and I asked her to train me (I think I was her first client). After getting me back to where I wanted to be, while tagging along to her sessions I fell in love with the training aspect and wanted to help people in the same way I got help regaining a level of fitness and activity.
Now that I’m CORE’s official Boot Camp Instructor, it gives me great pleasure to assist others in reaching their fitness goals.
It’s wonderful to be a part of this journey and I can’t wait for what the Lord has in store for our CORE family.
