MENTAL HEALTH SERIES
Renew Your Mind
Protecting Your Mental Health
Mental Illness is real.
Many are silently struggling with depression, anxiety, displaced aggression, unhealthy thought patterns, and many more may not have a diagnosed illness, but are stressed and suffering daily.
"Stress" is the word of the day. It's a part of life. There's a seemingly never-ending list of stressors and triggers wherever we look. How we respond to our stressors is what makes the difference between *managing stress* and *being stressed*; between being in good mental health and struggling with mental health issues. Our mental health is daily affected by our responses to life experiences.
"I'm losing my mind!"
"This/You're driving me crazy!"
"I'm close to the edge!"
Any of these statements sound familiar? If you've thought or uttered any of these (or similar) sentiments, you are not alone. More importantly, there is help.
What can I do?
How can I cope?
CORE Wellness TT collaborated with five professionals to answer these questions; more specifically,
"What are some practical ways I can protect my mental health?"
We present our Online Mental Health Series,
“Renew Your Mind: Protecting Your Mental Health”
It is our hope that this series will educate and empower you to practise mindfulness, and develop healthful habits for your mental well-being.
